SciencesPo Alumni UK Charity Trust decided to dedicate part of the funds raised since the first gala dinner back in September 2008 to finance two scholarships every year.
The Excellency Award Assia de Juniac worth £ 15 000.
The Merit Award Roger Seydoux worth £ 8 000.
Both awards aim to contribute towards the cost of tuition fees during the second year of the double master which is spent in London.
For information on the application process, please see visit the Trust’s website.
Hi. I have applied for one of the double master offered by Sciences po. I have financial problems to pays fees. So I want to apply for the Assia de Juniac and Roger Seydoux awards to be able to do the double master. But as my father is no longer working since a long time,I do not know how to present his tax fillings. Would be pleased to give me a suggestion.
Bonjour Alioune,
The reason why the trustees ask for specific financial documents is to better assess the financial needs of the candidates. But of course, if you cannot present certain documents, you can still apply – just give as much information as possible.
Have you tried to contact Agueda regarding your specific situation?

Hello,
I have recently been accepted to a Sciences Po PSIA masters (not eligible for the joint masters award). Having spent the last week trawling through every potential scholarship or grant I can find, it seems I have missed the deadlines for all that I am eligible for- I didn’t realise that for many you could apply before your offer.
I would be very grateful for any advice on funding opportunities still available, as if not I will need to take a year out to work full time and I’m really quite desperate to go this year!
Many thanks for any suggestions,
Philippa
Bonjour Philippa,
I am a member of the association, not of the trust, and all decisions are taken by the trustees. However, the Trust can only spend money on projects linked to the UK, to conform to the Charity Commission’s requirements.
For instance, there have been scholarships awarded to Sciences Po LSE double degrees students, where the money was directly transfered to LSE, as well as Sciences Po students doing a post doc in Oxford, etc.
Will your program have anything to do with the UK? If not, I am afraid Sciences Po Alumni UK Trust won’t be entitled to even consider exceptional funding.
Have you contacted your program administrator in Sciences Po? They would be more aware of any scholarship available in France than us!
Bonjour,
I would like to apply for the DOUBLE MASTER SCIENCES PO – LSE IN INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS and would like to apply for the Assia de Juniac and Roger Seydoux awards. I would like to know when the deadline for the 2012 intake for the scholarships would be.
Thank you
Daneesh
Hi Daneesh, sorry we just received the 2012 information, so the deadline is 30 May 2012.
Best of luck,
Stephanie
